Sheikh,I noticed that there are music installed in many of the toys muslim kids play with.Some schools use animation to teach kids via multimedia.Is these types of music haram?I mean the kids haven’t reached the age of maturity.

ANSWER: Music is haram for everyone. This is a very tender age and whatever we instill in their minds at this point in their life will remain with them forever, hence it becomes even more important to keep them away from Haram.

I want to ask that i heard that it is not permissible to offer any kind of nafl salah at time of fajar and asar is it true? Because i used to offer abulution nafal before every namaz . Can you tell me i should or shouldn’t stop offering my nafal for abulution for fajar and asar prayer??

I am a chartered accountant. I work in a Singaporean company ….. Which is a computer manufacturing company. Iam the financial manager of that company. The main business of that company is not related to interest but as far as iam considered I deal with the accounting of Interest because it is beyond my control to avoid interest related transactions. ANSWER: Remind him that it is prohibited to talk to non mahram and that these are the steps of shaytan to get him astray from the right path, make Duaa for him , and remind him to surround himself with righteous friends and to cut all communications with this woman and to repent to Allah.

Is it allowed for woman to dye the hair? Please justify if there is anything special in ruling for her before marriage or after. Also tell for men.

ANSWER: People can dye their hair without a problem providing they avoid black color as this was forbidden by Prophet salla Allahu aliaihi wa sallam and also they should not color their hair in weird and odd colors like pink, purple, blue etc which would stand out.

Our imam thinks all the Hadith of Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi,Nasai,Ibn majah are saheeh. But I know only Bukhari and Muslim narrated all acceptable Hadith. Our imam celebrates “middle of the Shaban” “Eid-e- miladunnabi” etc. Now what should I do?
