ANSWER: You must not listen or learn from Javid Ghamidi at all. Dr Zakir is an expert on comparative religion and this is his field. He generally speaks along the mainstream fatwas of our scholars. You need to check and cross examine his fatwas with what our scholars had said to be safe.

QUESTION: Sheikh, how would you advise a daughter to sincerely counsel her father who is involved in Tabligh? He actively goes out for da’wah, and apart from khuruj and the kitab they commonly read, there isn’t other practices concerning. What would you advise her to say?

ANSWER: Try to relate him more and more to the seerah of the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and his sunnah. Once he is truely attached to it, he would know that what he is doing is wrong.

QUESTION: Sometimes am the one who make Athan at our masjid at the Sametime i have to pray four 4⃣ raka’s before dhuhur and I like praying them at home and then I go to the masjid and make Athan so my question is, is it wrong I mean what am i supposed to do first Sheikha

ANSWER: This is totally unacceptable as praying it before the athan time is not valid and delaying the athan so that you can offer them home is betrayal of trust! Perform the athan and then offer it in the masjid like all Muathins around the world do!

ANSWER: This is her father’s right! The marriage can’t be conducted without her consent and his. I have seen tens of similar cases where they insisted to marry against her father’s consent which ended badly after few years and few children! They claim they did not see this coming!

QUESTION: What if the floor is disgusting because the masjid never runs a vacuum cleaner and people routinely sneeze in the carpet (the state of some masajid in egypt), can i put my forehead to the ground and avoid letting the tip of my nose touch in such extenuating circumstances

ANSWER: Of course not! Either you pray properly or stay home. You can bring a mat with you and pray on it though it is not recommended and not from the sunnah!

QUESTION: A teenage girl lives in a house surrounded by many buildings, with windows and a balcony. She does not enter the balcony, but spends time in the kitchen, dining room, and bedroom near the windows. Her parents say she doesn’t need to cover her head or awrah at home and that anyone who looks at her is sinful, not her. Can she walk freely near these windows? What should she do?
