My sister missed many Ramadan fasting for past few year due to her period,and she didn’t make up for that later, thinking that in this time if we miss salah we dont have to make up.Now she knows that she have to make up the missed fasting, But how she will make up for the previous years fasting?

ANSWER: She must estimate the numbers missed and add a couple more to be on the safe side and make them all up.

I take classes from a reputed Islamic learning centre here. When I asked my female teacher regarding the 6 Shawwal fasts, she says since I definitely intend 2 make up my Ramadan fasts b4 next Ramadan, I can fast the 6 Shawwal fasts without making up my missed Ramadan fasts (due to periods) and then make them up anytime during the yr. Is this kind of fasting allowed?

ANSWER: If the masjid is within your vicinity, you should pray in the masjid. If it’s not then you can gather other muslim brothers and pray in congregation in the prayer room.

If a person misses maghrib prayer during traveling should he pray 2 rakaat for maghrib and 2 rakaat for isha?
