Is it permissible for a boy who has fell in love with a girl to tell about this to his mother or father , so that he can convince them to let him marry her or get some advice to cure the love sickness, if it is impossible to get married. I have read in some books of scholars that they have told to conceal the love and not to tell to anyone. O Shaykh please clarify this!

ANSWER: Dancing is not an encouraged thing for women. But if it is not provoking any desires or lusts among women, this is permissible in weddings only as long as ONLY duf is used and no other musical instruments. Dancing as an exercise without any musical instruments at all is also permissible.
