Can I make random sujud just because I feel like it, or when I feel compelled to express my sudden intense love for Allah SWT at that moment? Especially when I’m in impure state (menses) where i can’t perform prayer that allows me to make sujud.

Can we buy sweets like for example gingerbread or spiced biscuits that the Non-Muslims only sell around Christmas/Advent time or is this like approving of it and taking part in haram festivals? Yesterday I bought some of those and only after that I realized that we are in the festival timespan, which is quite big.

ANSWER: Lower your gaze, seek refuge in Allah, buy your vegetables and leave quickly.

In salat when a woman raises her hands saying Allahu akbar before going to ruku and her abaya arm sleeves drop down a bit in that moment revealing her wrists and and a couple inches of her forearm is her prayer valid? If she has this abaya on should she just not raise her hands?please advise.

ANSWER: Deliberately exposing her arms like this nullifies her prayers. She must ensure that it doesn’t expose her arms. Not raising her hands won’t affect her prayer, however, she should either wear sleeves underneath her abaya or tighten it from the wrist area so that it won’t go up.

Sheikh, is it compulsory for a woman to do iqamah for every salat she does.

ANSWER: It is a highly recommended Sunnah to give iqamah for fard prayers for both men and women, however it’s not mandatory.
