My sister doesn’t cover herself. I’m really worried about her. I’ve told many hadiths and stuff but she doesn’t listen. She’s under peer pressure. Sheikh I recently started performing prayers in mosque. In the Zuhr prayers, I was confused on about reciting Surah fatiah or not reciting it as the imam was reciting it silently.Please clear my doubt.

ANSWER: When praying behind an imam as well it is obligatory for you to recite the fateha in all silent rakahs and prayers otherwise your prayer is invalid.

How many rakat to be prayed before and after jumma fard, I am confused, as in my mosque most people pray 4 sunnat before and after followed by 2 sunnat and 2 nafl. Please clear this up for me.

ANSWER: There’s no sunnah prayer before Friday prayer except the 2 rakahs of Tahiyatul masjid that one must pray before sitting down.

After every fard salah when i recite dhikr in masjid the imam immediately start suplication and people following say”allahumma amen”in a loud voice & I feel very hard to recite dhikr sometimes foget what to say. So my question is if immediately after fard salah i say “astagfirullah 3 + allhahumma antassalam..”& return back to my home and say the rest of dhikr at home is the reward same as masjid?

ANSWER: It’s correct to leave the masjid immediately after praying the fard because congregational dua after salah is an innovation. You can leave them and go to the back of the masjid to finish your athkar. You can even recite your dhikr while going on the way to your home.

i usually fast Mondays and Thursdays, and white days (13,14,15) every month. Recently I read that the 3 fasts (white days), a person can choose any 3 days of the month to fast. Is this correct? If so, then is there any difference in reward between white days and any 3 days?

ANSWER: The best is to fast the 3 white days but you can choose any random 3 days of the lunar month as well but it would be less in reward.

My father passed away last Friday. My mother also passed away last 5.6 years.. after my mother died my father married again.. So my question is what is the responsibility for us to our step mother? Is it our duty to take care her like our mother.if we don’t do that will we be sinner?

ANSWER: You don’t have any duties towards your step mother. However, it’s a good thing if you can check on her to see if she needs anything as she was your father’s wife. But this is not something obligatory upon the stepchildren.

I was planning on joining Bangladesh army, where the beard has to be shaved for 4 years during training. However, after training they allow the officers to keep the beard. Is it halal to apply for the army in such a scenario? What is the ruling?

In a state of major impurity can we recite other verses of the Quran other than Ayat Al Kusri the Three Quls and the last Two Verses of Baqarah or is it just these three we can recite for RUQYAH i mean

ANSWER: You can recite these only as a form of dhikr or for doing ruqya in the state of major sexual impurity, however it’s not permissible to recite the Qur’an just as a form of recitation, either from memory or by looking during Janabah.
