QUESTION: What is the ruling of a person who do something intentionally in Umrah that impose Dum on him rather than doing unintentionally? Like if he touches Ka’aba knowing it has fragrance in it.

ANSWER: If he knows that touching the black stone would result in him having perfume on his hand, he must not do that. If he does that knowingly, he must expiate for breaking one of the restricted acts in Ihram.

QUESTION: There is a big difference in the rates of buying jewelery and selling jewellery. When we sale the jewelery, When i have to calculate zakat then should i calculate it on the rates i have purchased it or the rates on which it will be sold on that day in the market?

ANSWER: You cannot force her to do any of this while she is still in her father‘s home and this is the result of marrying a non-practicing woman. You must give her an ultimatum to abide by the proper hijab or threaten divorce

QUESTION: In the ḥadīth, the Prophet ﷺ said du‘ā’ is answered unless one is impatient and says: “I made du‘ā’ but was not answered.” I once said by mistake: “O Allah, when will You give me?” Is this the same as what is mentioned in the ḥadīth, making my du‘ā’ unacceptable?

ANSWER: This is not the same as asking Allah for results and a quick response is not a problem unless one feels despair and abandons making duaa.

QUESTION: My brother-in-law has married a non Muslim girl and she has not accepted Islam. They don’t live with us. But visit us once a year. Should I maintain distance or should I present the best of myself in front of her since Prophet pbuh used to be best of himself with non Muslims. As this might change her mind towards Islam.

ANSWER: Seek refuge in Allah from satan and get out of that place and talk to someone to talk you out of this! Anyone who commits suicide would go straight to hell and would be punished in his grave till the day of judgement. Nothing on earth is even close to such torment and punishment.

QUESTION: There is a hadith about the Prophet saying: “I passed by the grave of Musa, peace be upon him, and he was praying in his grave.”. If yes is it true that dead people can pray and earn good deeds because we know the deeds of a person gets cut off after death except for three things as mentioned in another hadith.

ANSWER: This is not part of assignments that people would be rewarded for as after death, there is no accountability. This is a form of enjoyment the messengers of Allah are blessed with in their graves where such prayers is part of their favors and blessings from Allah that they enjoy.

QUESTION: If im praying and i yawn, do i pause whatever im doing and say audthu bilahi min aldhaytam alrajeem, and re-say the word i was saying when i yawned? Or ignore it?
