ANSWER: No. You can fast any day you want for the sake of fasting and not for any other reason and then you can make as much dua as you want, especially before breaking the fast.

QUESTION: My relatives living in USA told me that when they need any tools or devices(laptop, phone, watch) for a few days they buy them from a shop and after they are done using it those they return the tools to the shop getting a full refund.
