QUESTION: In my culture, the people on Eid day greet each other with a hug three times and they do not really do this outside of Eid day (occasionally they may). Someone told me that because the people single out Eid day to do this hug, it becomes a bid’ah (innovation) and we should not do it. I want to know if this is bid’ah and whether or not I should stop people from giving me this triple hug on Eid.

ANSWER: No problem in this (between same gender and mehrams) as its a cultural thing and people do not do it as an act of worship.

ANSWER: As long as you have completed 29 fasts, you don’t have to keep one more fast if you did not skip any day in ramadan

QUESTION: Can i follow aadhans from mosque who rejects sahih hadiths or mosque which does shirk. I am in a locality where i have two mosque near me both the mosque either does shirk or rejects sahih hadiths (eg: Rejecting hadith and believing a spell does not casted upon mohammad s.w.t). or should i follow the salafi mosque (far from my home but has a app that sync aadhan time)

ANSWER: No problem in replying to the adhan but you must not pray behind such people and you must attend the congregation in the salafi masjid.

QUESTION: My family, who are all hanafi, say that the Prophet Muhammad said or gave a fatwa that stop doing rafa yul dain, because idol worshippers had idols in armpits. And raising the hands would drop the idols and some other stuff. Is this true? If so, what do I say to them?

QUESTION: While praying, when shaytan brings thoughts in your head or is annoying you, and we are suggested to recite auzubillah and dry spit on our left thrice. So if i am in sajood or ruku, do i have to wait and stand straight after ruku or sit at tashhud after sajood to recite auzubillah?
