The Sunnah is to slaughter it a weak after the birth of the baby. This means that if it was born on Sunday, the aqeeqah should be on Saturday.

Can husband stop his wife from being pregnant after several number of kids? Can a woman take medicines to stop being pregnant? Can a woman undergo an operation after having several number of kids for example she has given birth to 4 kids………… …… but her husband says 4 kids are enough now and should stop. My daughter yesterday start kindergarten and as many of children cry and she don’t want go back to school just if I will stay with her in the class. My question is Can I lie to her that I will stay with her just to accept to go? I can stay there only few minute with her and then run?

If you tell her that you will stay with her for a while and you go for few minutes, this is not a lie and it is permissible.
