If a Muslim believes that one should protect the privates parts, not because that Qur’an and Sunnah forbids it, but he thinks that it is something bad and we should not do so,so he refrains from it for that reason, what is the ruling? Has he done kufr or he is just ignorant or sinful?

There is a hadith with a dua’a to say after eating a meal that forgives previous sins. And another hadtih about praying two rakah thinking of nothing but Allah.I am wondering would this apply to even people persisting in sin or addicted to something? And would all previous sins be forgiven even if they were millions?

I’m having a problem which I dont know how to solve. I got a phone call yesterday informing me about my mother winning a prize in lottery. As far as I know, lottery is not accepted in Islam. So, my question is should I inform my mother about this? And they also told me to collect the prize, my mother would have to show my phone to them. So, should I give her my phone?
