ANSWER: We don’t have an estimate for the length of the prophet’s prayer salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam. 20 minutes can be acceptable if someone is praying alone and he is not repeating things or doing things out of OCD.

QUESTION: In Bangladesh, men divorce by signing a document where it is written “I divorce my wife,” and local scholars consider it valid. Is signing divorce valid in Islam? or must it be spoken? Can someone in Bangladesh follow local scholarly opinions on this?

ANSWER: Normalising free mixing like this is not permissible. It is better to wait for a better option for a spouse or make it a condition before going through the proposal that he stops such haram activities.
