someone argued with me today saying i’m confusing taraweeh,qiyamul layl and tahajjud, and that they’re all different, whereas just an hour before that i had seen a vid of yours explaining that there are only two night prayers, qiyamul layl being anything after isha and tahajjud. who gave taraweeh its name then?

Dear sheikh, what is the ruling on giving charity to poors inside mosque? In this blessed month many poor and needy people come to mosque and when prayer finishes they stand ask people to help and sit inside mosque. Seeing these one imam of one of mosque said that it is prohibited to give charity inside mosque if any one gives he has to pay 70 times more for its kaffara. Please expand on it.

I made a vow to fast two months when my father is fully recovered from his massive heart attack. However, since then I read in a Sahih Hadith that Rasulullah SAW discouraged this type of vow because it does not change Qadr I want to know if it is permissible to change my vow to me fasting two months regardless of whatever happens?

I am confused regarding my menses, at the moment my lining is shedding (there is pieces of lining in the toilet after urinating) but there is no blood whatsoever? I was meant to start on the 14th but didn’t and noticed some faint brown discharge 2 days ago but again no blood at all. Should I do ghusl and continue fasting/praying or not? A person starts his fast in Pakistan on the 19th of June 2015 and then after couple of days arrives in Dubai where the first day of Ramadan was the 18th of June 2015, and he intends to stay in Dubai for more than 2 months. Question is , will he need to fast an extra day as he started his fast a day after Dubai or not?

Is it ok to make just one niyyah for the whole month of Ramadan at the first day of Ramadan or must you have to do niyyah each day before starting the fast. Thus making it 29 or 30 niyyah?
