Assalamualakium. Reading the Quran and then seeing the translations makes me feel closer to Allah Azowajal. I do not comprehend & therefore cannot implement what is being said in Quran. I am taking Arabic classes and recognize words which makes me feel happy, but i’ve been advised to not read it & to listen to it instead. What should I do? I am a laymen. (female) If i listen, i don’t understand

Assalamu Alaikum, Nowadays we see many online Islamic articles state that renewing our intentions regarding the roles and responsibilities as wives and mothers automatically elevates these mundane duties of cooking, diaper changing etc to Ibadah. Even thought 99% of men would look at a woman, there is still a percentage of women that look at men. So why are men not prescribed to cover from head to toe. Most girls follow guys of insta ..etc and even run after boys in college. Why do women have to cover way more than men. I understand that men feel attracted to women but it is the same for women feeling attracted to men. However men only have to cover from navel to knee where as women have to cover EVERYTHING apart from their face, hands and feet.
