QUESTION: What are rulings on fasting g by a woman who ahs asthma . Asthma occurs through seasonal allergies perfume fragrance , changing of weather. Is she supposed to fast or give money instead of fast ?

ANSWER: This has no impact on her fasting! She can fast like normal people and whenever she gets her asthma, she can use her inhaler and continue her fasting.

QUESTION: The imam of the masjid has asked me to give the adhan. Everyone here uses a timetable for the adhan timings and likewise the masjid has one as well. The problem however is that the local muezzins deliberately delay maghrib adhan during Ramadan by two minutes from the time given in the timetable ‘to be safe’ and I was asked by the imam to do the same as well

ANSWER:This is not permissible. You must advise them to give the athaan on time as the mu’athin is entrusted with announcing the time to break fast and the sunnah is to hasten to break it.

ANSWER: Any nasheed that is accompanied by musical instruments is haram, free mixing is prohibited, and promoting such acts in Madinah is disrespectful to the prophet salla Allahu alaihi wa sallam and his companions.

QUESTION: Is there any specific dua/dhikr to recite after completing Taraweeh? Because usually, after concluding the Taraweeh and Witr, the Imam Reads some dhikr and the followers repeat it!

ANSWER: No problem in this at all! You can even pray in front of him in the same room as long as you are praying individually and not in congregation with him.

QUESTION: If I hold a gathering for eid, and I make sure it is separated between men and women (separate gathering rooms/food tables), but the guests decide to mix on their own accord, will I be sinful?

QUESTION: Cheikh, after praying Isha, the imam don’t let the time to pray the 2 nafila of Isha. So I prayed it after the complete tarawih when I go home. Is that correct ?
