I joined the jama for dhuhr salah a few minutes late and before I could complete my fatiah the imam went into ruku. To which you said I should complete the fatiah quickly and join the imam in ruku. What if the imam gets back to qiyam postion from the ruku and is getting into sujood. Should I still rush the fatiah? Or get into ruku without completing the fatiah?

If you started the prayer while imam was standing, you must complete the Fatiha. Otherwise, your Rakah would not be complete. If the imam raises his head before you go for ruku, this Rakah is void and you must add another Rakah after the imam gives Salam.

One wall separates our house from our neighbour (kafir), you can hear all whenever you speak even low.I memorise quran in my bedroom and I’m sure he is tired of listening to it everyday and also the night prayer(when I raise my voice).He does not tell me nothing perhaps he is is shy,but most likely I’m bodering him.Its better for me to recite with voice whenever I memorise.Advice

As long as he does not say anything and you are not transgressing, don’t worry about it!

I have been asked by my wife’s parents to fetch them from a bid’ah ceremony (katam), which they attend, and I have refused them categorically, by stating that I can’t help them because they participated in Bid’ah. Am I right or wrong? An urgent reply please.

He must not lie unless there is eminent danger in him! He can use double talk or beat round the bush as they say in order to ward doubts about himself.

Are we allowed to recite Qur’an if we have madhi in our pants or do we have to wash it off first?

I have all conditions to give my husband khula but I have a 3 yr old daughter whose custody my husband & inlaws aren’t giving me,they’re rich people.Do you think it’s permissible by Allah swt for me to not give khula for my daughter’s sake?I have done isteqara,didn’t get any answer,but a chain of situations just made me come back with to my husband.

This is a decision you must take by yourself! The custody is yours islamically and even in most countries that are not Islamic.

I go to a public school and we are not allowed to miss or leave school on Fridays so we have come to terms with the school in which we will have approximately 20 mins to hold a Jumu’ah khutbah and salah, I wanted to know whether this is acceptable in islam inshallah.

my question is in regards to tahajud/witr, is the end time for tahjud/witr just before the Azaan of Fajr or is it till you have started praying Fajr, for example if Fajr starts at 5:30 and sunrise is 7:20 and i set my alarm to try and wake up and read tahajud and witr and i wake up at 5:35 do i then have to do qaza of witr and pray fajr or can i read witr and then pray fajr

My brother is excessively rude and a bully gor all the family.my sister and i are married and face a real hard time visiting our parents.he even sometimes bully our kids.if we ever complain to our parents,they use our deen against us,saying that u 2 r on deen n yet complain n hurt us by saying all this.and give him an edge by saying he doesn’t claim to b a good muslim etc.what to do?
