In our country, medical & car insurance is mandatory. A lot of Muslim brothers say that we take these policies because we have to obey the law; but at the same time, if a need arises, it’s best not to use any benefit from these policies. Can you pls explain whether it’s best not to use them? Also some points which I can convey to them as well.

I went for a trip with my friends in India. We visited a historical temple over there. There was a long queue, and i was pushed inside. I reached the inner chamber and my friend told me to wave my hand over a lighted candle and touch my chest. This was their act of worship. All this happened in a split sec. and I didn’t even think. I just did it to show my respects. How should I perform tawbah?

You have wronged yourself greatly and this is an act of shirk! You must repent to Allah and show sincere and deep remorse. You must ask Allah for forgiveness and never do such a thing in the future. You must cut ties with such friends and only have Muslim friends.

In my kids school,we have a collection of packs for suhoor ,for the support staff.It is arranged voluntarily by mothers & distributed by Islamic department children along with parents(mostly mothers, as fathers are at work).It is a non-Muslim school & we take this as an opportunity to demonstrate the charity spirit of Islam to the school.Is it counted as a good deed for mums?

The question is not clear. Taking a loan in riba is prohibited regardless of the signer and co-signer.

I want to know that is forex trading halal or haram??

It is not permissible to trade in currency except if the transaction is done on the same spot and time by giving the money and receiving it hand by hand at the same time. In Forex, you need a day or two before you can cash your money, if I am not mistaken.

In my college in the prayer room if i see people in congregation praying,and i dont join them but pray alone in the same room will the prayer be valid or invalid?
