ANSWER:

Zakat is given only to poor and needy muslims! If your cousins are truly poor, you must give your zakat on time to them or call them to authorize you to keep it for them until you visit them. 

I have orphan first cousins in another country. Can I calculate and set aside my annual zakaat and give in person when I go visit them or I must give it right away somewhere else at the same time every year?
