ANSWER:

2.5% zakat must be paid on the current selling price. 

If you don’t have money to pay the zakat, you must sell some of the gold and must pay the zakat on time as this is mandatory. 

Your husband can also pay zakat on it on your behalf and with your prior permission.

My question is on my marriage my parents and in laws gave me gold which is approx more than 7 and half tola that means zakaat is mandatory on me but i am a house wife and have no source of income so how can i pay zakaat? And to calculate the total amount of zakaat which rate will be considered the one on which i purchase the gold or the current rate of the gold?
