Sheikh I read in Hisnun Muslim (fortress of the muslim) some adhkars and then I found that some supplications which is there is graded to be weak by Sheikh al-Albani.

Shaykh what is your personal preference in regards to how many times the surahs and ayahs should be recited, 3, 5 or 7?

There is no preference. It has to be odd numbers. The more it is the better but i believe it should not go beyond seven times.

It appears that such sins of the heart, one is sinful because he has intend it with his heart and it was out thoughts crossing his mind.
