ANSWER:

It’s not a plague. 

In Sha Allah, a muslim who dies due to Coronavirus is a martyr as it is attacking the respiratory system and suffocates a person like a person who is drowning. 

You mentioned already that coronovirus is not a plague since the death rate is low. Some scholars mentioning that death from coronovirus will be considered as ‘shuhada’. Please advise. JazakALLAHU Khair for allowing me to ask the question.
