ANSWER:

As long as one is hopeful in Allah and doesn’t do haram or neglect obligations, this is ok in sha Allah. However, one must fear death and his sins.

Whenever I think about death, I feel at ease and fearless since I started praying and doing good deeds. My question is this a good or bad thing?

In Asian countries most parts,people after making some special dishes recite surah fatiha,some other surah and then they ask Allah to forgive the so and so dead people. I know this practice is an innovation but when someone brings that food to our home and we came to know after he left that the above innovation activity is done. So whether we should throw the food away or eat or give to someone?
