If you are in an unislmic country and there is an Islamic party who is trying to make a difference, you can vote for him as he is the lesser of the two evils, while admitting that it is not permissible for this Islamic party to accept the unislmaic practices or rules such as voting for haram issue.

What should be my attitude towards Islamic parties contesting in democracy? should i vote for them? because i heard some scholars say it is forbidden to vote at all because it could be an act of shirk
