This is not permissible as this is one of Allah’s name that no one can share
with him.
Allah and Rahman can only be used for Allah. Allah says: “Say (O Muhammad): “Invoke Allah or invoke Al Rahman (the Most Beneficent), by whatever name you invoke Him (it is the same),” 17:110

What is the ruling on naming ones son Rahman without the Al-? Is there any proof from the words of the scholars?
