This is permissible as it is not actually giving him the child but rather it is asking him to bring up and take care of that child who is named after his actual father and mother

Shaikh, in Pakistan I’ve seen that some parents give their new born child (boy or girl) to his / her brother due to the reason that they don’t have kids.
