There’s no expiation (kaffara) for this.You simply pick it up and put it back in it’s place and be careful from next time.

shaykh… i have a shop and most of the time when I am free at the shop, i prefer reading the quran from the mushaf. Is it permissible to read from the mushaf in a state of being without wudhu or must I have wudhu to read from the mushaf?
