Islam tells us to bury our dead and we don’t care what others do with their dead. Hindus until recently used to burn the wife of the deceased while she was alive with her dead husband.

What type of cruelty are they asking about?

What i would like to ask is considering the cremation of hindus. my hindu friend thinks that the islamic burial is a cruel thing to do to the dead ones as the body is being slowly decomposed ..while by hindu beliefs when they cremate it the process is done readily at once…i have no idea how to tackle her question, please shed some light into this matter
