You can buy things that you can afford like the things you have mentioned.

Extravagant is when you buy something that you can afford but the price or the use of it is not normal. For example, if you but an antique that is only expensive because it is old or one of a kind. This becomes forbidden because the cost is not for its use but for its uniqueness and age. This is just an example.

What exactly you mean by extravagant if i buy a mansion with a garden, swimming,gym,office etc so is it extravagant but i can afford i can afford expensive watches like rado,bretling,tag heur etc
