There isn’t anything in Islam as farewell party.

However, it seems to me that if people do that for someone who is leaving the company or traveling away, it seems to be permissible.

Is it allowed to be a part of a farewell party? Is there any incident in your knowledge of the life of RasullAllah sallAllahu alaihi wasallam attending a farewell party?
