ANSWER:

It is not permissible to boycott them or stop talking to them. You must stand for your parents and defend them and tell these relatives in their faces that what they are saying is not true and only liars say this! When you are passive and don’t defend them, they think that this gives them justification to insult them like this. But when they see this vicious defense, they will put their tails between their legs and stop.

Some people from my parents family always abuses and insult my parents.They often does aspersions on their reputation and false blame (ilzam) on them My parents are very god fearing and righteous people Sheikh so my question id is how I’m supposed to react to them. Can I stop talking to them and boycott at all?
