Avoid sitting with people who would help you gossip and only sit with righteous practicing Muslims!

Shykh plz help how to stop gossiping. I mean a meaningless talking.. Hope you understood my question. (How one can stop gossiping)?

There are people in our area they collect trash from each house and are very poor.They always ask my mom to give them lunch to eat.My mom always feed them but I think they are not Muslims although there claimed to be Muslim but they don’t pray any salah and according to your lectures you said those who doesn’t pray at all they are not Muslim.so my question is should mom stop feeding them?
