I believe that they have an Islamic committee and it is permissible to work there.

Sheikh, is it halal to work for the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah? I have asked different people but i am not sure if they deal with ribah.

I am an Muslim immigrant living in the US. Every year the immigration service has a worldwide lottery in which you have to apply by entering your information( you do not pay for it), and they pick a number applicants and give them the green card. Is this halal? or is this forbidden in Islam, is this apply to the same ruling with the lotteries that involve money?

Shaykh we know the fact that we SHOULD NOT take back a gift once we have given that to a person as there is a hadeeth about it as far as I remember But what if someone gave us a gift but after sometime we return that? Not with any bad feelings, just stating that I cannot keep it with myself.
