Sheikh I’m getting married in 2 and a half weeks. My fiancé’s grandfather died 4 days ago. I know that mourning in Islam is only 3 days, would it be appropriate to continue with the Nikah? We had planned a segregated ceremony in a hall where food would be served. Should it be toned down – Nikah in the Masjid? My parents may lose the deposit on the hall.

There is no problem in continuing with the marriage ceremony!
May ALlah have mercy on his soul.
