ANSWER:

If she didn’t make them up until the following Ramadan was due without a legitimate reason, she is sinful for that. She cannot give fidya for such missed fasts as she needs to make them up whenever it is possible for her.

Sheik if a woman did not make up her missed fast before next Ramadan, what should she do? Should she feed 1 miskeen and fast?

I have a chronic illness (lupus). I’ve been diagnosed from 9. I’m now 17. I didn’t know the signs of reaching puberty and only thought I reached it from 13, so I didn’t pay fidya before that. With my illness, there is no cure, I take daily medication, sometimes less or more, but I cannot stop the medication. I can become in remission, when I feel healthy I fast, and sick I don’t. Can I pay fidya?

I know we should make up missed fast then the shawaal as per the hadith to get reward but some say as aisha r.a delayed missed fast so it is permissible to makeup missed fast after shawal fast to get reward of 1yr fasting .can u elaborate this particular Hadith regarding shawal fast& their logic?
