“O you who believe! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful.” [al-Hajj 22:77] This place of prostration is apparently only implemented by the followers of Imam Shafi’i.As a follower of Quraan and Sunnah with no particular madhab as such, should I prostrate on reciting this Ayah?

My question is regards to praying behind an Imam who engages in bidah like celebrating the mawlid and he believes in hazar nazar etc etc. They are the follower of Imam Ahmed Raza Brelvi (im not sure if you know about this group …but they are referred to as the ‘Brelvi’s). Im I allowed to pray behind this imam or any member of this group?

I came to know that since my father is unstable in walking, he did not go for jumaa prayer but instead do jumaa prayer at home ie 2 rakaat and not zohor prayer.
