The followers of this sect are either knowledgeable of its teachings or ignorant.

Those ignorant who don’t say things that nullify Islam, we can pray behind them though it is best not to.

But if they are knowledgeable and they are approving it, they shouldn’t lead the prayer and we must not pray behind them.

My question is regards to praying behind an Imam who engages in bidah like celebrating the mawlid and he believes in hazar nazar etc etc. They are the follower of Imam Ahmed Raza Brelvi (im not sure if you know about this group …but they are referred to as the ‘Brelvi’s). Im I allowed to pray behind this imam or any member of this group?
