Sheikh Anwar, I have never heard anything of him. But if what they say about him and that he gave the green light to kill civilians, one shouldn’t listen to him.

My question is.Our youth are addicted badly to lectures of Anwar Al Awlaki who happened to be a member of Alqaeda. I would want to know your stance regarding Al Qaeda, Bin Laden and as well as Anwar Al Awlaki.

Is there any differences in opinion regarding celebrating birthdays? From my best of knowledge it’s haram. A brother celebrates birthday and I wanted to stop him from it. I sent him islam.qa’s link and he sent me a YouTube video. A da’ee said that celebrating birthday is permissible. Please clarify.
