ANSWER:

What he is doing is wrong! Ask him if it is fine if you take off your hijab because you are not of that high level of a Muslim woman !

My husband and I are practicing Muslims as we should be. Alhamdulillah. My husband grows beard long. But when his acquaintances call him “Mutawwa” seeing his looks, he feels he isn’t of that high level practicing Muslim and so as not be (Riya) showing off Muslim, He trims off his beard making it very short. I hate it,we argue over this matter. Pls advice him Shaykh.
