ANSWER:

If they do not follow any hindu rituals in this and if this practice is common in muslim community and this is done to make the skin glow and to put henna on bride’s hands and legs then there’s no problem in this, providing its a segregated function and there’s no music or any other haram involved. 

sheikh In my family there is a Nikah function on next friday Thursday night there will be a Mehndi function by bride’s Family Can I attend that function and eat that food ?? Is It permissible?

In India/Pak b4 wedding, functions like Haldi (put turmeric to bride, every1 wears yellow dress, bride does not change yellow dress 3+ days, stage is set for bride, etc) & Henna where everyone wears green clothes. Hindus also do these. Rituals slightly differ from place 2 place. Wat is the ruling on this functions? How to do in halal way if allowed to do?

My husband and I are practicing Muslims as we should be. Alhamdulillah. My husband grows beard long. But when his acquaintances call him “Mutawwa” seeing his looks, he feels he isn’t of that high level practicing Muslim and so as not be (Riya) showing off Muslim, He trims off his beard making it very short.
