ANSWER:

If she made a will for that amount to be spent in ways of charity and to be given to the poor, if this amount is less than one third of all of her wealth she left behind, this is a valid will that must be executed and your father has no right in taking a penny of it.

If the amount is more than one third, he is only allowed to take from it what mounts to one third and give it in means of charity and the rest must be distributed to the heirs of your grandmother.
