jazakallah for providing us infornation during ranadhan. kindly guide whether it is mandatory to cover hands/ palm and feet during salat? Contradiction found among two maslak; please shed some light on this important issue directly related to our salat.

In ramadan in Makkah I saw the imam was leading the prayer at the place of taraweeh and was not praying at kabah. So my father said that this was wrong for the people to pray in front of the imam. So please can you clarify it with evidence that Wether it’s correct or not.

My grandfather never prayed, nor did he used to fast. My father tries to feed people on his behalf for the fasts he missed every ramadan. But prayer cannot be offered on his behalf. Is there any chance for him to go to Jannah? My grandmother also had a dream of him where he was in severe agony.
