No problem.

In some Pakistani families there is a trend that when a baby is born maternal grand parents hosts a party (inviting relatives for food) to celebrate the birth of a new baby. it is done few days after birth just once not yearly like birthday and it is other than Aqiqah. Are we allowed to follow this custom or it is completely against sharia.
