ANSWER:

No. This does not invalidate the nikah.

It’s a debt on the husband, he must give it and if he fails to do it, it must be first taken from his inheritance (if he is dead) and given to the wife.

Groom doesn’t want anything from bride nor he is demanding but bride’s parents want to give furniture, car etc. out of their own will and desire as they are financial capable and they feel happy in giving it to groom as part of marriage. Still should groom accept it or reject it.

Can i accept study expenses of my wife from my father in law?if he want to give it to me willingly? Will it be considered as dowry?
