My Dad needs some medical treatment, but sometimes it is difficult to find facilities where only males are present (for example, the doctor may be male, but the nurses are female). Is it permissible for him to go to a local hospital even if the nurses are female and may have to touch him and look at his private areas?

My friend had confessed to me that she is an intersex. Meaning she has both male and female parts. She looks like a woman but her private part looks abnormal. So in Islam she wanted to know if they are allowed to get cosmetic surgery in the private area to look normal. And in Islam are intersex allowed to get married?
