ANSWER:

The sunnah is not to keep your nails uncut for more than 40 days. However, there is no specific day for clipping them.

I wanna ask that,is it must for us to cut nails every Friday or after every 40th day.Like some people’s nail grow more even if it’s on weekly basis so will any of the above rule will apply similarly?Is thier any hadith in which punishment of not cutting nails is mentioned as many of them I know but not sure whether they’re true or not.
