ANSWER:

What you have been doing is totally prohibited and shameful. This money is considered as the grandfather’s wealth and must be distributed among his heirs according to sharia laws.

You must sincerely repent to Allah while showing deep remorse for stealing and dishonoring the trust and amanah and return it all at once even if you have to borrow from others.

I used to manage my bedridden grandfather’s money which was alot and i used some without him knowing as he had lost most of his senses. I have maintained a proper record of it and i will pay it back. Unfortunately he passed away, what should i do. I have all the records maintained even down to 1 Dollar.
