ANSWER:

He is sinful for treating her like that especially when she is older than him and taking care of his child. 
You should keep them away from one another so that they don’t meet and he doesn’t get a chance to mistreat her like this. 

I have a question regarding my mum and my husband’s treatment of my mum. I understand that islamically he is not obliged to obey or do anything for my parents but does it mean he can treat my parents like dirt and can get away with it? My mum looks after our baby while i work but he treats her not in a nice way at all.
