I couldn’t find in the Quran and the Sunnah what supports such an allegation. Besides, Adam and Eve both ate from that forbidden tree. Why is it that only Eve is paying the price?

If there isn’t anything supporting this from the Quran and the Sunnah, then it is not logical.

I had this issue with my friend. We were just having a discussion and she was talking about the bible stating that in the bibleit says something along the lines of: whilst women are giving birth they have tremendous pains and that is because of what Eve had done – eating from the fruit of the tree that God had forbidden.What can be a comeback for this? What can I tell me friend in the light of this argument?
