ANSWER:

Your current husband is not obliged to support your son as this is the duty of his biological father. You have the right to take your ex to court to demand that he pay child support but may choose not to do this and you are not sinful for that.

Your ex is the one who will be held accountable for not paying maintenance for his son.

I am divorced,I have a 10 year old son from my previous marriage.My ex has never fulfilled his duties as a father.He chose his career over us.Hes a doctor and hes still not giving child support.I understand it’s my sons right but what if we dont want it n just leave it.would me and my current husband be answerable to Allah swt for that. My current husband loves him alot.
