QUESTION: I wanted to ask if when we are done with our prayer and we are sitting on the musallah and suddenly we pass gas , is it still okay to do our adkaar or is it disrespectful? Should we go make wudu again?

ANSWER: It’s not permissible to touch it with bare hands You can either wear gloves or read from your phone etc.

QUESTION: Is it okay to say shahada before sleeping, of course after reciting sleep dua or is it something that was not practiced by the prophet s.a.w hense should not be done by us?

ANSWER: You should not do this as it’s an innovation. You can randomly say it once in a while and also during the whole day but not specifically before sleeping.

QUESTION: Sheikh, is it permissible to Raise hands and make Duaa straight after Tahiyyatul Masjid/Sunnah Prayers every time. This is to make Duaa for in between Athan and Iqamah.

ANSWER: No problem at all in making dua by raising hands in between Athan & Iqamah, in fact it’s a highly recommended thing to do, it’s one of the prescribed times the dua is most likely to be answered

QUESTION: Should we say Bismillah before starting a new dhikr. For e.g: if I am doing 2 separate dhikr do I have to recite Bismillah before starting each of them?

ANSWER: No, unless you are reciting a surah as part of the dhikr.

QUESTION: I usually prefer to make du‘a and istighfar while lying in bed before sleeping, as I find it more comfortable and free from distractions. I do this solely to seek closeness to Allah and not with the intention of introducing any bid‘ah, as I understand this is neither a sunnah nor a mandatory act. Is it permissible for me to continue this practice with this intention?

QUESTION: Whoever who makes perfect wudu and then says the dua will go to Jannah, is it sufficient if I wash everything once or do I have to wash everything in wudu 3 times?
